What's the Opposite of Meta?
This poem was going-uh- to be about love or war or all of the above-uh. There was a point to this poem-uh, but hidden under layers of abstract misdirection. Subtle metaphors-uh, a tasty rhythm—all the requisite parts of a poem-uh. But it was no poem-uh; it was a death rite. Nothing but a ritual. Barely spiritual. Just some lines that looked like a poem-uh, but said absolutely nothing. So I wrote this one instead— turning in a butterfly’s stomach.



Tried to think of a witty meta-comment as response - couldn't - so falling back on self-conmentary. What is actually more meta than meta?
